The meridians
The circulatory system of energy (Ki in Japanese) in the body called "Keiraku" whose common English translation is "Meridian". The network covers the whole body from head to toe, vertically and horizontally.
Unlike the nervous and circulatory systems of blood, the circulatory system of energy is invisible to our eyes, it may be perceived by our sense of touch. It is considered as a functional phenomenon that exists only in the living body.
The energy is spreading in all parts of the body through the meridians and completes the phenomena of life. When his movement was hampered, the functioning of organs / associated viscera is disrupted and finally the symptoms appear. That is why, including Shiatsu, it attaches great importance to the free flow of energy in the meridians, thus allowing the body to regain its equilibrium.
The main meridians are among 12-and 6 correspond to organs (Yin) and 6 viscera "Yang". Through all these meridians, energy continually runs the whole body for fuel. The meridians are the very body by connecting each other at the face, feet, hands, stomach and chest. The route of this course is as follows: lung, large intestine, stomach, spleen, heart, small bowel, bladder, kidney, heart constrictor, triple heater, gallbladder, liver, ... ... etc.La lung function of each meridian is growing especially at certain times.
Along the paths of these meridians, there are 354 vital points called "Tsubos" or acupuncture points. These issues often become sensitive when energy circulates poorly. These points are also used in Shiatsu..
